The cat is walking through the stage then movie theater then a party. You initialize sprites in a scene by making the backdrop at the beginning. Cartoon movies would use scene changes. People use backdrops to create a story.

Conversations Reflection

The Broadcast block sends a broadcast throughout the Scratch program, activating "When I Receive ()" blocks that are set to that broadcast. You would use timing when you want time for the message to be read. You would use broadcasting when you want two sprites to have a conversation.

I would explain "Make A Block" as a way of creating one block for many different blocks together. You would use it if you had a lot of actions that you wanted to repeat.

Debug-It Reflection

The debugging strategy I used was to determine which block does what action and then see what block would do the missing action. I would help someone else by showing them one example of a debug-it.

This activity helped me learn scratch because it exposed me to many of the buttons I can choose. It restraints my ideas because I have to use all 10 of the buttons so I cannot use the blocks that I might want.

 It was surprising that the scripts are able to move when given directions. It made it easier and less frustrating to be led step-by-step through the activity. As a learner, I like having more structure when I am first introduced to a new project. I like having freedom when I feel comfortable with the instructions so that I can explore and be creative.  I feel the most creative when I discover new things that weren't in the instructions.

X-Ray Goggles

I changed the "Recommended" box to "WATCH" and the YouTube logo in the top left corner to a music picture. I changed the first video picture to a different picture. I changed the "Upload" button to "Listen to Music." I changes the red box in the left top to "EVERYONE LOOK." 

I changed the red box in top right corner to say "Hello" and the Blue box on the left to say "I Love  Watching Movies" and the white writing to say "Computer Applications with Ms. Conner." I changed the bottom middle to say "Hi Ms. Conner" under the TV icon and under the open door icon to the right to say "My favorite movie is 21 Jumpstreet."
